A now page is a little glimpse into the things that occupy my time. It's a little bit like a diary, but paired down in my case to an overview of things I am doing or have done. Typically, things in life that would be logged here progress slowly, so don't expect changes every day, but I'll try to update it once a month at least.

Working on...

At work

Your regular patching, maintenance and helpdesk escalations, plus:

• Automating as much as possible, in particular application deployment - yes we're behind on this front, but we're making up for lost time
• Beginning the Windows 11 rollout - yes, we're behind here too. We've still got a year, alright?!
• Auditing and security are at the forefront of peoples minds, people who do not usually have these things in their minds at all. Opportunity to improve things!

Online

Anything with an internet orientation deserves its own little section. This includes things to do with this website, there's always stuff happening on here, even if a lot of it isn't visible

• Getting to know the people in the 32-bit cafe community as I indulge in reading more about the small web
• Poking at the Gemini Protocol, as time allows, working on a little project

At home

The home, the family, and other AFK things.

• Kid is back to school, wife is back to work, the fun of the summer break is over. I wish every day could feel like summer break.
• Got a quote for a new driveway - nothing special, just replacing what's there (properly) but the cost... the cost!

Relaxing by...

Reading

• Pale - [ongoing] I read this at every opportunity. It's fantastic, as all Wildbow serials are, and I'm so glad I saved it so I could read it all once it was finished. The Wandering Inn and Super Supportive will be resumed once Pale is finished

Gaming

• World of Warcraft (retail) - [ongoing] I've decided to not buy the new expansion until it goes on sale

Watching

• Brassic - [ongoing] We have been recommended this a few times now, by the same person. I strongly regret not starting this sooner. Check it out, it's great
• Changing Ends - [ongoing] Great and easy watch comedy show, glad season 2 is out!
